King Solomans to use two software platforms

Online gamblers were non-plussed this week at what appeared to be an unannounced intention to change software platforms by the RealTime Gaming-powered King Soloman's group. In the event it transpired that the group is to use two different software platforms - Playtech and the existing RTG - for undisclosed reasons.

A King Soloman's spokesman said: "We have essentially opened up King Solomons Casino on 2 platforms . The RTG platform will still operate for players that prefer that platform and will be based at www.ksonlinecasino.com - nothing else at the Casino will change.

"The domain www.kingsolomons.com will be used for the new Playtech platform.

"With regards to not communicating this to players - we tread a fine line when doing things of this nature . If we don't email our players we get asked why we didnt email them and if we do we could be accused of trying to switch over players to a new software and thus decimate the earnings of our marketing partners - so its a no win situation that we find ourselves in."
