English Harbour's free gift to the stars
10.10.2005The English Harbour online casino group came up with an innovative marketing ploy last month at the Toronto International Film Festival - comps for the stars.
Over 150 glitterati attending the function were handed gift baskets that included $1 500 casino comps from the veteran online gambling group. The vouchers empower the rich and famous to play at English Harbour casinos at any time and from wherever the recipients find it convenient.
The film festival attracted the biggest names in Hollywood including several Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winners. From musicians turned actors Madonna and LL Cool J, to stars of TV's most popular shows Eva Longoria, Edie Falco and Kiefer Sutherland, to Academy Award winners Anthony Hopkins, Gwyneth Paltrow, Morgan Freeman and Charlize Theron.
It is not known if any of the schlebs have used their gifts yet.
