Playtech loses Sportsinteraction

28.10.2006

Sports Interaction players have been advised by the group that effective October 25th the online casino, poker and sportsbetting operation has switched from the Playtech software platform to that deployed by industry leader Microgaming.

The move is thought to be the result of Playtech's decision not to cater to US casino players through its licensees, and follows a similar change of platform by the Main Street group which earlier this week switched from Playtech to RealTime Gaming.

SI players in the United States received an apology from the group for any disruption caused by the change-over. Players residing in the USA will not be able to make any further deposits using the Playtech software, but SI management advises that all accounts have been seamlessly migrated to the new system, and they can continue to use the same account information and passwords going forward.

Players should click over to SportsInteraction, select whichever part is preferred i.e. casino, poker, sportsbook or racebook. Players who have already been registered at SportsInteraction will find their account and password information works with the new software.
