Chief Technology Officer leaves Expekt for Bodog

News on 28 Jun 2010

AJ Thompson, formerly CTO of the Expekt group which is now owned by Mangas Gaming, has been recruited by Bodog Europe and will be responsible for technology issues going forward.
Thompson will report to Patrik Selin, chief executive of the Bodog Poker Network and more recently of Bodog Europe, who said this week: “AJ will bring both drive and magnetism to Bodog Europe’s IT and over the next few weeks we will be unveiling a ground-breaking new plan of action that will highlight how determined this company is to be a real player in this ultra-competitive market.”
Commenting on his appointment, Thompson said: “Bodog Europe’s ability to take quick decisions makes them an attractive place to work but also gives them the flexibility to move faster than companies shackled by endless layers of bureaucracy,” said AJ. “In the i-gaming world that is an obvious advantage because the landscape is ever-changing and I have the opportunity and backing to do whatever it takes to have the best product in the European market.”
