BlingCity online casino launch

News on 24 Apr 2014

A new LGA-licenced online casino at BlingCity.com was launched this week.

The new online venue claims an innovative concept in melding online gambling with social media by offering a “constantly evolving world” where players can visit different locations.

Players are able to achieve status levels, interact with other players and play for real money within a story they create which starts with the development of their own unique character, referred to as Citizens.

BlingCity offers its own currency “Blings” which can be used to purchase real money, bonus money and other items in an in-game shop titled “Bling Avenue”.

Games are powered through Net Entertainment’s casino engine providing well-known titles that include Gonzo’s Quest, South Park and Scarface.

“After being involved in the gaming industry for such a long time I saw a need for change.  The vision of BlingCity was born out of the idea of merging social gaming with gambling. This new platform will bring the casino business to the level that players have been waiting for.  I’m very proud to be able to introduce the 3rd Generation of Casino action”, said Daniel Sahlin, founder and chief executive officer of BlingCity.

Swede, Sahlin is also founder and chief executive officer of gambling firm Cosmopolitan Casino & Slots Limited.
