A different king of excitement for Intertops

News on 31 Aug 2010

The raging Caribbean hurricane Earl generated more excitement than Intertops.com bargained for over the weekend, blasting through Antigua and taking the island infrastructure temporarily down to such an extent that the online casino was briefly rendered unserviceable, according to staff members.
Hurricane Earl was a category 3 storm that hammered the Leeward Islands before slamming into Antigua on Sunday, demolishing homes and dumping at least five inches of rain driven by violent winds gusting to over 120 mph.
Earl has now blown through Antigua and is lying some 90 miles east-northeast of St Thomas, moving roughly west-northwest at an estimated 15 mph.
