By going no-download, real gaming gives players wider access

South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa’s Real Gaming online poker offering is not among the pioneering sites to launch in the legalised Nevada market, but it claims it has an important advantage…it is the only operator to launch exclusively in no-download format, and that gives wider accessibility to players who rely on their mobile devices.

Using internally-developed technology, Real Gaming trailed pioneering Nevada online operations launched by Ultimate Gaming and Caesars, but due to its web-based nature it is more widely playable for punters with Mac, Linux, Android and iOS moble platforms in addition to the more common desktop and laptop options.

The no-download approach necessitated an innovative method of ID verification, achieved through a Real Gaming app on punters’ mobile devices.

Company exec, Lawrence Vaughan, talked about his different approach recently, commenting: “At Real Gaming we strive to deliver new and innovative technologies for online poker players.

“The ability to play poker on any device at your convenience is new to the industry. It completely changes the poker experience and brings poker to a wider audience. “
