Las Vegas has a glossy, hi-tech new race and sports book facility following a launch at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino this week in collaboration with Cantor Gaming.
The resort’s new race and sports book features Cantor Gaming’s signature trading station architecture and mobile wagering tablets, giving each patron access to multiple screens on which to bet and watch his or her games of choice, in addition to dozens of high-definition screens throughout the sports book.
Lee Amaitis, President and CEO of Cantor Gaming, said: “We’re committed to giving customers new and unique ways to bet on sports in Nevada – our In-Running wagering technology means patrons are invested in the action from start to finish. We have changed the way that people wager on sports for good by bringing the concept of sports trading to Nevada, built on our 65-year Wall Street legacy.”
Cantor expects to launch its eDeck mobile gaming system at the Hard Rock in the coming weeks, giving casino patrons the ability to remotely play a variety of proprietary casino games, as well as bet on their favourite teams, in designated areas of the resort.
