Indian province awards online gambling licence

The sparsely populated province of Sikkim – the only Indian provincial government with an online gambling licensing scheme – has issued an online gambling licence to Future Gaming Solutions India Pvt Ltd, allowing the company to offer internet sports betting, online casino, bingo and poker services to Sikkim residents.

Formerly a lottery-oriented company, Future Gaming is expected to start operations in this channel, with two more license awards reportedly imminent.
