Nevada Gaming Commission to consider new regulatory requirements

News on 19 Aug 2012

When the South Point Poker and Monarch Casino applications for internet poker licenses come before the Nevada Gaming Commission for final approval on August 23 they will face additional regulatory requirements which are mainly centred on organisational and integrity imperatives.

Both companies were recently advised of the new requirements.

The Commission will consider the need for a fully documented system for internal controls of the online poker enterporises, along with the creation of a properly secured online poker reserve fund and a professionally presented plan for compliance with the regulations, and a detailed operational roadmap and schedule.
