Lasseters Casino has been around for more years than many can count, after years of experience in the land based casino industry with Hotel Casino, the group launched the world's first fully regulated and licensed online casino in 1999 and fast became one of the most recognized and trusted names in Online Gaming.

Being month since I'd last visited Lasseters, I decided it was high time to visit the casino again and re-evaluate the entire casino experience from start to finish...

The Lasseters Casino landing page has an aura of opulence which is only slightly offset by the badly designed Slot Machine graphics on the right hand side of the page, but I do have a taste for the richness of the red and black theme colors which run throughout the site, and still find it highly attractive. The site is also very well laid out with all the information you could need including casino facts, banking, support and promotions, at your immediate disposal.

As usual, my eye was immediately drawn to their latest promotions, largely because of the huge pop up advertising these and I decided to check these out to see if there was anything of interest before getting started.

Lasseters Casino Welcome Bonus and Promotional Offerings

The first thing that grabbed my attention on the casino page was the "$500 sign up bonus", which is effectively broken down into 100% sign up bonus up to $100 for your first five deposits. To qualify for this bonus, all you have to do is register a Real Money account and make your deposit. Thereafter mail support to notify them of your deposit, upon receipt of your email, the support team will usually deposit the bonus into your account on the same day. Each deposit and the resulting bonus must be wagered to extinction or withdrawn, prior to making your next deposit. Another week day promotion is "Tremendous Tuesdays" which is especially for Slots players. Lasseter’s VIP Rewards Program is built on various levels. Upon first deposit and play you are automatically registered as an online member eligible for certain rewards. You can then work your way up the levels by sending in your "Proof of age" documentation. To move up to Bronze status you have two options, either deposit via Neteller or make a withdrawal via check. I decided to head off to their Slots first this time and catch one of my old favorites, Cleopatra which is an Egyptian themed 9-line, 5-reel slot featuring free spins and scatter symbols. After finishing considerably up, I tried my hand at Doctor Love a 5-reel, 20-line slot with scatter, substitute and retrigger symbols, but I didn't get much love on this one and decided to move on to a few more before my balance was completely wiped out. After trying out Lap of Luxury, Lasseter's Gold and Psychadelia, it was off to the tables...

You can choose from Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Sic-bo. Most of the table games are played in either Shockwave or Flash versions, and I decided to go for Blackjack first. The minimum bet per hand in the Shockwave version is only 2 cents, while the Flash version minimum is $1. High rollers will be able to bet up to $1000 per hand - so Lasseter's caters for both casual and High Roller players alike. I elected to play the Shockwave Blackjack and after a very successful few hands, walked away with over $100!

I then tried out Roulette which was equally enjoyable, but not nearly as rewarding and so I decided to finish up with a couple of hands of Video poker. Lasseters offers high roller video poker - so where other casinos have a max. bet of $5 - the minimum bet at the high roller video poker game at Lasseters is $5. Not being a high roller I chose a lower limit game and spent quite some time playing there.

The Verdict

There is absolutely no doubt about it, Lasseters is an excellent casino. It is regulated, ensuring your peace of mind, offers great promotions, fantastic betting limits and has professional and friendly customer support. They cater to both casual players and High Rollers alike and there is truly something for everyone. In addition, playing in a browser is quick and convenient and something I definitely prefer, although that's a matter of personal taste.
