Royal Vegas Casino is definitely a veteran when it comes to online casinos, it has been around since 1999 and if you're an online gambler already, you're sure to have heard about it more than once or twice. Part of the prestigious Fortune Lounge Group, Royal Vegas casino is powered by Microgaming and has established a reputation of excellence over the 7 years that it has been in operation and has become a favorite amongst players.

Visit the casino site and you'll be greeted by numerous casino icons that just seem to give you that Las Vegas feeling and make it quite attractive, drawing the eye in and giving you a sense of excitement, especially when you see the pictures of their latest winners and somehow imagine yourself hitting the jackpot here.

Having played here for a number of years, I'm pretty familiar with the casino but haven't been back to the actual homepage for years, and I must say I'm impressed...it seems to have come a very long way! I decided to see how well their promotional offerings had improved for first time players and headed straight for that page.

In addition to these Royal Vegas Casino offers an extra deposit bonus of 10% up to $100 on deposits made via Neteller and Click2Pay...once again you have to use the promotional codes. When it comes to promotions, Royal Vegas Casino's offerings are about quantity rather than quality but they are definitely worth looking out for and I was pretty impressed. Being an existing player I can vouch for their ongoing promotions and weekly offers.

Download and Registration

Playing at Royal Vegas casino is very straight forward; all you have to do is visit the site to get started. Royal Vegas offers you three ways to play....for Real, by downloading their casino software and registering a Real money account, for Fun by downloading and registering a Guest account or Play on their Lite Casino which has a smaller games section but no download so you can play instantly.

If you're serious about selection and extras, then I'd really suggest using the Download version, it's not a very heavy file size and their are different installers and even a Free CD version available for you to use depending on your connection speed...all very helpful. As with most Microgaming casinos on the Viper platform, there are a huge number of games (over 200) available at Royal Vegas Casino which are all displayed in well structured menus per genre. And there's everything you could possibly think of from Slots, to all your favorite table and card games.

This time around I headed straight for the Slots on offer and found it difficult to know where to begin...there are so many to choose from including classics like Thunderstruck to the newly launched Mega Moolah progressives. I'd heard SO much about this game and with a minimum jackpot of $1 million I of course started here. The game is highly entertaining and turned out to be very lucrative for me as I won $500 in the first 20 minutes of game play, but shortly afterwards my run of luck took a turn and I decided to see what else was on offer.

When it comes to slots, Royal Vegas casino has everything from single to multi-line slots with bonus and free spin features, so there's something for everyone. The real draw though is that they are really well designed with awesome graphics and sound effects and very smooth gameplay...you'll never be disappointed

Next I decided to play blackjack and once again I was met with a huge selection of games including multi-hand games and games representing tables from across the world like European rules, Atlantic City, Downtown Vegas tables. There are also high roller tables in each variation if you feel the need to spend big bucks or are just feeling lucky, but I decided to stick to the standard tables and played European Blackjack for a change. This game accepts bets from $2 to $200 (I stick to a maximum of $50 at a time). The gameplay was great, very smooth and relatively fast paced which I enjoy. After a few lucky hands I finished up and decided to move on.

I then dabbled at the more obscure tables like Pai Gow and Sic Bo before with not much luck before heading off to check out the Video Poker on offer. Royal Vegas offers a great number of games ranging from classics such as Jacks or Better to less-popular games such as All American Video Poker with both single and multi-hand games for each, so once again you're spoilt for choice. I chose Jacks or Better and played the 25-hand version which allowed hours of fun as I watched my balance rise and fall...as usual, video poker at Royal Vegas gave me more play for my money.

When I reached the $100 mark, I decided to call it a day and cashout. The withdrawal process was very quick and after the 24 hour pending period, the money was back in my Neteller account
