CS Casino is part of the Peak entertainment group and has been in operation since 1997 and is powered by award winning, Global Edition Cryptologic software. Over the years they have won a variety of prestigious player awards, which shows just what players think of them and makes for an excellent reputation in the industry.

Upon first glance, this casino seems very un-casino like (for lack of better words)...although the use of the blue color scheme is very soothing, I expected something more reminiscent of the Caribbean and alot more casino like! I actually had to do a double take to make sure I was at the right site, but sure enough I was and realized that this was going to be a very unique experience for me, being my first visit to a Cryptologic casino.

Licensing and safety

Licensing and safety features are usually the first things I check out when playing at a new casino. The CS Casino if fully licensed and regulated, it is also audited by one of the Big 5 internationally recognized independent auditors to ensure fair game play. When playing here you are assured of safe and secure credit card transactions as well as safe, prompt pay-outs.

Bonus and Promotional offerings

Once I was drawn into the detail of things, I realized that all the information I needed was laid out throughout the site. I was instantly attracted by the focal point of the homepage, the exclusive, limited time Bonus offering of 100% up to $100. You are eligible for this bonus when you sign-up a real account and deposit $20 or more. Wagering requirements for this bonus are a 25x playthrough which is pretty high compared to most out there and this time around a decided not to take the bonus and so I browsed the promotions page to see what else was on offer.

The list seemed quite impressive and I was surprised to see that not only do bonuses and promotions apply to new players, there are also offerings for existing players such as $100 every month - No deposit required (and no restrictions on withdrawing the bonuses), now that seems appealing! To qualify for this, you have to play in the previous month and have wagering activity of over $6,000 on applicable games within that month, which may or may not be too high for you depending how often you play?

Another offering is the $150 Slots reward wherein all slots players are eligible to receive an extra $50 in addition to the $100 monthly loyalty bonus on offer when playing on any one of the 60 slot machines available. Once again though, your account will need to reflect over $6,000 in wagering activity.

There is also a $50 "Refer a friend" bonus, where you will receive $50 for referring players not listed in the casinos database. Your friends will have to sign up accounts, deposit $100 or more and wager $2,000 in qualifying wagers before you are eligible...hmmm...sounds like alot of effort to me!?

The $2,000 Bejeweled tournament promotion really held my interest, I'd heard so much about this game and how enjoyable and addictive it is that I just had to read more. Basically to qualify to win a share of $2,000 (What?? Not all of it?? Okay, I'm greedy!) You have to purchase $10 which gets you $500 tournament chips and 30 minutes of game play where the goal is to accumulate the most winnings. At the end of the designated tournament time the top 3 players with the most chips at the end of the tournament wins their share of the $2,000 guaranteed prize pool (70%, 20%, and 10%). Now that sounds like fun! But please just bear in mind that as usual, terms and conditions to all of the above apply! In addition to all of the above there are also rewards based on membership to the Peak Rewards club.

Rewards Program

You gain automatic entry to the Peak Rewards program from the minute you start play at the casino, and you are eligible to earn free cash in the form of loyalty points every time you play any of your favorite games. Upon regular game play, your points accumulate, and at any time you can choose to redeem them for cash or to purchase merchandise or travel. What's more is that the more points you earn in a month, the higher your Peak Rewards Rating for the next month ... and that means you'll earn more points even faster. I was definitely glad to see this offering at the casino.

Having settled that I wouldn't be accepting the bonus offerings at hand, I headed back to the homepage and downloaded the casino.

Casino Download and registration

I opted for the download version of the casino rather than playing at the Flash casino or ordering the software CD (Suitable for dial-up users), registered a Real Money account and deposited $100 via Neteller, although there are other deposit options available including Credit Card, PrePaid ATM, Firepay, Citadel, Bank Wire, ECP and Check. Once this was complete, I entered the games lobby to see what was on offer.

Games offering

This casino has decidedly less games than what I'm used to (only 80 including 6 progressives) but the quality of the software makes up for it by far. There are all the types of games you've come to expect from a casino on offer including, single and multi-line as well as progressive slots and Video Poker. Table and card games include Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Poker. I immediately headed for Bejeweled to see what the mass appeal was all about and must admit that if it wasn't for having to write this review, I probably would have just stayed there! It is a truly fantastic puzzle game that will keep you engrossed for hours if you let it! Totally loved it! And as I was getting ready to play another round, the casino software closed down and I had to login to the casino again (a sign? I don't know but a little annoyed, I decided to move on nonetheless).

I subsequently moved on to a variety of the slot games which on the whole had coin sizes ranging between 5 cents and $5. The progressives offer quite big jackpots too, and are equally entertaining.

CS Casino also has quite a number of Video Poker offerings both traditional and unique. Every version of the video poker games can be played in a 1, 3, 5 or even 10 hand play version of the games, which is more than enough to keep your hands full!

Moving on to the table games, I started with Blackjack which is usually my favorite. The CS Casino has several versions of blackjack including a single deck game with betting limits ranging from $50 to $1000 per hand, the latter being a little too rich for my blood but sure to inspire some kind of craziness in all the High Rollers out there.

I also tried my hand at European Roulette and Baccarat but don't usually enjoy these games so didn't spend much time there, although I think that if they are your thing, you'd certainly enjoy the experience at this casino.

All in all, the game graphics are superb and I was amazed at how smoothly the games actually run and unlike alot of other software types, this one does threaten your processor usage. Now all that was left was to test the support...

Customer support at this casino is available 24/7 in English only via e-mail and toll free telephone numbers. The response time to my e-mail was average and the information presented in a concise, easy to understand and polite manner. Who can ask for more?

The Verdict

While Cryptologic will never be my favorite software, it is a definite treat and makes a refreshing change from the ordinary. The rewards program at this casino is excellent and you will receive regular bonus offerings. So go ahead and enjoy safe, secure and highly entertaining game play with them...I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
