As many of you know, we have always had reservations when it comes to RTG (Real Time Gaming) casinos. This was largely due to the unfortunate fact that there were a few which operated in an appalling manner and made it difficult to separate the good from the bad. As such we made it a policy to only promote an RTG casino if we felt 100% comfortable with them...after working with this casino for a few years now, we can honestly say that Sci-Fi Casino falls into this category.

Sci-fi casino has recently undergone a makeover and has a much more understated look and feel about it these days, compared to the in-your-face space theme that it once had. Download and Registration

To play at Sci-Fi Casino, you will need to download the casino software. This is a very simple process and the installation is usually very quick and easy...all you have to do is follow the prompts. The download executes in two-stages, the initial download being 180k followed by a bigger download which is just over 2,995k in size. When it comes to table games, I usually play Blackjack or Roulette but decided to do something a little different and play Caribbean Stud Poker table. I'm usually not good at Poker, but Caribbean Stud is a little easier than other games (even though when it comes to the odds, it's not the best game to play) because all you have to do is beat the dealer's hand after 5 cards have been dealt. That said, I still didn't do very well and so I decided to rather play Craps. I was luckier here and threw a 7 in the second round and then 11 a little further on which recovered the money I'd lost on Poker.

Next up was Video Poker, and Sci-Fi Casino offers a wealth of Video Poker games and allows customers to play from 1 to 100 hands at once. All the usual favourites including Jacks or Better, Double Jackpot Poker, Deluxe Double Bonus, Deuces Wild and Aces & Eights can be found here and so I decided to go with one of these and play Deuces Wild poker. While the Video Poker graphics aren't as good as those of the table games, they are still fast paced and highly enjoyable.

Finally I decided to try out the slots on offer. Again there are quite a few different ones to choose from and I played Prince of Sherwood and Lion's Lair which are both amazing games but unfortunately didn't prove to be too lucrative for me. I did refund my account with an additional $50 but still didn't have much luck; nevertheless, I did have fun!
