The SlotsPlus casino website with its varying shades of purple, bright shiny lights and flashy icons is one that really catches the eye. Recently redesigned I'm still trying to get used to the "jazzed up" version but being the creature of habit that I am, this may take a while.

Don't let the name SlotsPlus mislead you, they do have quite a comprehensive offering of other games, but obviously their focus is on Slots games and they have a very impressive selection of regular, video slots and progressives. Another seemingly attractive feature of this casino is their promotional offering of $500 on sign-up and so I decided to take a closer look...

Welcome Bonus and Promotional Offerings

You may actually have to read the SlotsPlus promotional offering (as well as terms and conditions...please make sure you read them carefully before accepting anything) a few times before you actually understand what's going on but basically what it boils down to is a 125% Initial Deposit Bonus whereby you receive 125% bonus on a deposit of anything between $10 and $100 dollars. Alternatively if you deposit between $101 and $100,000 (yeah right!) you'll receive $125 on your first $100 plus an extra 25% on the remaining portion of your deposit. So it goes something like this: Deposit $350 and get $125 on the first $100 of your deposit plus 25% ($62.50) on the remaining $250. A total of $187.50 in bonuses giving you a starting balance of $537.50! Technically you don't get $500 free but it's still not a bad offering once you understand it!

Download and Registration

SlotsPlus casino, like most other casinos out there offers you the opportunity of playing at their casino on either the download or no download (Flash) versions. While it is a matter of personal preference in my opinion the download version is preferable as game play is smoother and graphics are clearer than on the Flash Casino.

While SlotsPlus doesn't have the magnitude of Slots that some other casinos have, you can't complain about the games at all, many are highly entertaining. I started off with the 3 reel slot Frozen Assets which has really cute icons and a betting range of $0.05 to $5 and a jackpot of 250 coins. The great thing about this game is that the bonus builds up and will still be there next time you play!

Next it was on to the Achillies Video Slot based on the life of Achillies and had a good first run winning $200 off the bat. I then moved on to the IRIS 3000 (Interactive Real Intelligence Slot in case you were wondering) which is a 7 Reel, 1 Payline Slot with Progressive Jackpot and Bonus Extra Reels and Multiplier features. After a few spins I hit the bonus feature which has laser beams that cross the screen and is accompanied by the "Warning" sound effect when the beam stops on a closed door. It then opens the door and brings a hidden reel into play and you can win even more! I had quite a lot of fun on this game and blew the rest of my cash trying to hit that jackpot and so I had to call it a night.
