Sun Vegas Casino Review

Sun Vegas is a Microgaming powered casino, part of the Vegas Partner Lounge and operated by Empire online, one of the largest and well known names in the industry. I originally played at this casino a couple of years back when it was newly launched, and I wondered how much it had changed since and although I still had the software loaded on my desktop, I decided to do the entire tour and see what was new.

The Sun Vegas landing page is quite attractive and certainly infused with "solar energy" that seems to become contagious as you browse through the pages of the site which boasts a 150% Match bonus, Over 200 games with a variety of Jackpots, whose tickers become mesmerizing as the climb higher and higher each second.

Also, all the other information you may need including Banking, getting started, loyalty, support, promotions etc. is only a page away and set out in a user friendly manner, with 8 language options including English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, Danish, Turkish and Swedish to choose from. I had a really good feeling after looking through the site and headed off to open the software I already had loaded.

Getting Started

If you are new to this casino, you have the option of selecting to play at either the Flash or Download versions of casino and I'd recommend the downloaded version as they always seem to have all the extras that the Flash versions usually don't offer, but then again, it's really a matter of personal taste, the available space on your PC and the speed of your connection.

The download version of the casino is quite heavy at 7.5 MB and may take some time to download, but in the meantime you can browse the site and read about all that they have on offer such as the promotions and bonus offerings.

Bonus and Promotional offerings

The bonus and promotional offerings at Sun Vegas are quite limited in comparison with some other casino offerings and their Welcome bonus is not as competitive, but they do make up for it with ongoing bonuses.

Their latest offerings include a 150% Match bonus up to $40, which means that you receive $60 free after making a $40 deposit, giving you $100 to play with. This bonus is subject to both casino and promotional terms and conditions. Bonus accounts (or bonus cash) cannot be cashed in immediately, only used to place wagers which are subject to a 30x playthrough requirement before being cashed in. Please make sure you read all of the terms and conditions before accepting bonuses (you can refuse them if you wish). If you choose to receive the bonus, it should be credited to your account within 5-8 hours of the initial deposit being made. Unfortunately was unable to test this time as I already have an account and am therefore not eligible for the bonus.

Another promotion on offer aimed at Real Players only, is a bonus of up to 15% on all deposits up to $3000 a month. The amount you will receive is largely due to the deposit method you elect to use. After reviewing the T&C's and being a little disappointed by the offerings, I decided to head off and see what the loyalty club was all about...a lot of people play at the casino and there must be a reason why!

Loyalty Club Sun Vegas has quite a nice loyalty program and you are automatically entered into it when registering a Real Account. You are also eligible for 250 free loyalty points which is a really great start to your casino experience.

Also, for every $10 you bet, you will receive 1 loyalty point, so the more you play, the more you earn these can also be redeemed for free tokens.

Registering an Account

Once your software is downloaded you will need to register a new account (just follow the steps), and make your first deposit via the number of banking methods on offer which include Credit Card, NetTeller, Click2Pay, Moneybookers, PaySpark, UseMyBank, Switch & Solo Card, Delta Card, Firepay, Citadel, Paysafe Card.

Once I'd eventually found my username and password for the casino, I made a deposit of $100 via Neteller, although you do have the option to deposit in UK Pounds, Euros and Canadian Dollars. After completing my banking transaction quickly and easily, I decided to head off to the casino to check out some of their 200 games on offer.

Games Offering

The games offering at Sun Vegas is presented in the familiar Microgaming lobby format and there really are so many to choose from.

I decided to start with the Table games, rather than my usual favorite slots, for a change and gravitated towards the Blackjack tables but was overwhelmed by the wide variety of choices in front of me! Sun Vegas offers every conceivable type of blackjack ranging from European to Vegas Strip blackjack. The table game bet sizes are fairly reasonable at this casino and range from $2 to $200 for most games, however, I did notice that certain tables allow high rollers to play with $100 minimums and $2000 maximums - a little too rich for my blood but still optional nonetheless.

Like most Micro casinos, the game play at Sun Vegas is superb, with excellent, cutting edge graphics and casino audio, the experience is an enjoyable one time after time.

Finishing slightly up on the Blackjack Tables, I headed off to try out a few others including European Roulette, 3 Card Poker, Baccarat and a couple of throws of the Craps dice! Unfortunately I came off a little worse off after these and headed for my all time favorites...the slots!

Now, the slots on offer at Sun Vegas are as impressive as they are plentiful and you're sure to find your all time favorites, both old and new, as well as much, much more. Feeling lucky I headed off to the Progressive Slots first and had a couple of spins on both Major Millions and Cash Splash which are both fantastic! After more time than I intended to spend on these I decided that maybe it wasn't my day to be a jackpot winner and so reluctantly I dragged myself away to the other Video Slots on offer and found Tomb Raider, a total classic! After a flutter on this, I tried out some of the newly launched slots, which are equally as impressive as the existing favorites out there, and sure to become hits of their own in the very near future.

In addition to progressive and video slots, Sun Vegas also offers everything from 3-reel to multi-line bonus slots with a variety of bonus, wild and free spin features...truly a slot player’s delight!

After almost losing the very last of my bankroll, (with a balance of $3.50) I decided that I'd played enough for one day and fought the urge to return to the cashier...although I was aware that in 5-8 hours my deposit bonus would be credited and I'd be ready for round two! Usually, cashins take around 48 hours and the casino may ask you to provide ID documents to do this, but its all part of being an E-Cogra sealed casino...if you want the benefit of peace of mind, you'll just have to comply!

The Verdict
