About 3 years ago Swiss Casino was acquired by well-known Intercontinental Online Gaming Ltd. and was quickly elevated to the high levels of quality and service one has come to expect from this group. The Casino claims that it is run on "Swiss Precision" and from experience I can tell you that that is not just promotional talk, it really is true.

Welcome Bonus and Promotional Offerings

Swiss Casino is currently offering a $400 Welcome Bonus, upon closer inspection of the fine print though you will realize that this is not on your first deposit but rather that you will be eligible for a 100% bonus up to $100 on your first deposit and then a further 100% bonus up to $100 on your next three deposits thereafter.

Look closely at the Terms and Conditions and you'll find that you cannot cash these bonuses out as they are for wagering purposes only and you will only qualify for the second to fourth bonuses if you have no cash in your account and have not requested a withdrawal, so effectively you have to lose to keep getting free cash. In addition to this, wagering requirements of 12 times your deposit and play bonus are applicable before cashing out anything higher than your initial deposit amount and certain countries are required to wager 25 times. At this rate, in my opinion you're better off passing on the bonus offer and just enjoying the casino under your own terms.

Not doing too well on this though I tried out Tropic Reels with its jungle theme it's highly entertaining but still the likes of Queen of the Pyramids and Gold Rally called to me and eventually I gave in and played them both. While I won $500 on Queen of the Pyramids I lost all that and more on Gold Rally and decided for the sake of being able to review other games I'd better move on.

Next it was on to the Card games and I played Blackjack Switch where you can swap your second card between two hands, this is really a cool game to play and I enjoyed three good hands followed by three bad and took it as a sign to move on. I decided to try out the Live Dealer Roulette which was a lot of fun and quite a novelty but the pace of the game because of the live feed is a little slow as is the blackjack and Baccarat although I hardly know how to play the latter properly.

So I moved on to the Video Poker machines as you can play quite a bit for low wagers. Swiss Casinos Video Poker is a little limited compared to most, nonetheless they offer eight exciting video games with full pay 6/9 Jacks or Better which is what I elected to play. The game has good graphics and nice smooth play and can provide hours of fun. My balance rose and fell quite a bit but still I had a good run and ended up with $80 still in my account and so I headed back to the Gold Rally progressive to take shot at the jackpot with the balance and won $300!

Fighting the temptation to play it all back I headed to the cashier and cashed out and soon the money was back in my Neteller account.
