Powered by Microgaming and part of the Casino Rewards group who bring you casinos like Aztec Riches, Phoenician casino and Blackjack Ballroom to name a few, Yukon Gold Casino is the latest addition to this brand portfolio and if the other casinos are anything to go by, promises to deliver quality gaming and themed fun.

Having not played at this casino before, I decided to spend some time looking around the site before starting to play and noticed that Yukon Gold Casino is a member of the Interactive Gaming Council which ensures that this is a safe place to play and also found out that the casino is reviewed by Independent auditors which served to put my mind at ease being a first time visitor. After scanning through the rest of the site, I decided it was time to test this casino.

Download and Registration

As with all casinos within the Casino Rewards group, Yukon Gold Casino offers both a Flash and Download version of its casino. I always go with the download to get the full version of the casino and found that downloading and installing the software which is 322K in size, was really simple, with the website providing clear instructions on how to get up and running. While the initial download size is quite small, it is important to note that additional files are downloaded in the background and will take up more disk space.

Betting limits are pretty flexible compared to most casinos and you can bet up to $125 on a single hand...which mean that a Royal Flush pays up to $100,000 in prize money which is amazing if you win but pretty expensive if you don't! After playing Aces and Faces and Jacks or Better I had $150 in my account and decided to head off to the Slots.

Yukon Gold Casino has a multitude of slots available from traditional 3-reels, one line slots to multi-line Video slots with free spin and bonus features. Being a fan of the Video Slots I decided to try a few that I hadn't played at Microgaming Casinos before and sticking with the Yukon Gold Casino theme played Gopher Gold and Cashville. Despite offering these options, support was not very responsive and I found that my mail took quite a while to get a response. I decided to check out Live chat and that wasn't available until the next time I logged in. But there are toll free numbers for 5 countries which you can use, and these are sure to get a response...so not all bad!

The Verdict

All in all, Yukon Gold Casino is themed fun for everyone and will definitely transport you into the wild times of the Gold Rush and maybe even help you to strike it rich!

Being backed by a well known group like Casino Rewards and powered by Microgaming you are assured of quality game play and good benefits.

On the downside, customer support is not the most responsive I've ever come across and this casino group is known for being sensitive about those claiming too many bonuses which is quite bizarre. But if you can get over these points, it's a good place to play and I'd still recommend it if you're into great games and a good player experience.
