Craps - Come line Part1

Articles December 13th, 2009

To get the most advantage out of craps, you should make multiple bets on different numbers. There are a variety of ways to place these bets, but one of the simplest is the “come line”. The come line is the same as the pass line. It’s betting the dos and backing the right bettors. You can only place the come bet, however, after a point has been established.  Pension Fund Trustees

Let’s say you have a £2.50 bet on the pass line, and the shooter established four as the point. Take another £2.50 chip and place it on the come line. There are now five results that can
occur on the next roll.

•    The shooter rolls a seven. You lose your £2.50 pass-line bets, but you win £2.50 on the come line.

•    The shooter rolls an 11. You win your £2.50 come-line bet, and the pass-line bet remains.

•    The shooter rolls a two, three or 12. You lose your come-line bet, but the pass-line bet remains.

•    The shooter rolls a four. You win your pass-line bet, and the come-line bet is moved to the place bet box four, and becomes a separate bet that will only be resolved when a seven or a four is rolled. The next roll is technically a come-out roll, but since this bet has to be resolved, it will remain in action.

•    The shooter rolls a five, six, eight, nine or ten. The come-line bet is moved to the corresponding place bet box, and becomes a separate bet that will only be resolved when a seven or that specific number is rolled. The pass-line bet remams.
