Investigating the Spanish regulatory scene

The Spanish Ministry of the Interior, Comisión Nacional del Juego is to provide an update on the future of online gambling in the region at a conference titled Online Gambling in Spain – A Regulatory Update.
As Spain moves closer towards collective regulation governing online gaming, leading regulators, advisers and operators will be convening in Madrid at the conference to discuss issues associated with the upcoming change and offer tangible and working solutions.
Included in the high-level programme is an address by María Ángeles González, Technical Secretary General from the Ministry of Interior, Comisión Nacional del Juego, who will be providing timely and exclusive insight into how the regulatory programme is progressing and what the resultant landscape may look like.
This vital regulatory update, taking place at the InterContinental Hotel, Madrid on 9 March 2009, will provide strategic and tactical market insight for Spanish operators, and international operators considering entering this lucrative market.
