Spinning the slot reels for world peace

News on 22 Mar 2012

A Texas-based online gambling information site, Slotmuscle.com, has developed what it claims is a unique and unusual concept to promote world peace (and get itself noticed, of course).

The site is promoting a free-to-play 3 reel slot titled USA vs. the World, which is apparently designed to “…draw attention to the challenges that face the United States in 2012.”

The graphics feature President Obama, Iran, Syria, North Korea, terrorists, a nuclear explosion, and other symbols that represent the problems the planet in general and the United States in particular face in the world today, in the hope that it contributes to awareness that violence is not the best option in solving problems.

That sounds a little like beauty queens wishing for World Peace, but they’re trying….

Slotsmuscle attracts around 20,000 unique visitors a month, 52 percent of them from India, so it could take a while to get the word out.
