Thai online gambling ring bust

Officials of Thailand’s Action Taskforce for Information Technology Crime Suppression have arrested eight suspects who allegedly operated an online betting ring which accepted wagers on foreign soccer games.

Reportedly led by Kritaphop Seethammarat, the bets were funnelled through online betting and casino website i99bet.net with the operation generating $6 million in two years.
