Unibet has announced the finalisation of discussions with Spanish tax authorities in respect to historical activities it undertook which were targeted at the Spanish market during the period January 2009 to May 2011.

A settlement agreement reached with authorities will see the company make a one-off payment, covering betting duties, interest and penalties of Euro 3.2 Million.

Although Unibet didn’t apply for a B2C gaming licence and no longer services the Spanish market, its B2B provider Kambi has been awarded a B2B licence and has contracted to Spanish customers Acrismatic and EGASA .
