Weil resigns as Sportstech director

The Board of Sportech has announced a change to the nature of Lorne Weil’s relationship with the company.

Weil has tendered his resignation from the Board with immediate effect and will, instead of his non-executive directorship, remain affiliated with the company in an ongoing advisory capacity.

Roger Withers, Sportech’s chairman, said Thursday:

“Lorne has been an important contributor to the Board and, as a leading figure over many years in the gaming and technology industries in the United States, we look forward to his continued involvement as a consultant.”
