Crazy Vegas Poker
Updated May 14 2006
Crazy Vegas Poker really is crazy. Yeah - I know.. the name sets up that first statement, but they live up to the name. Where would you go and play poker, knowing full well that hands are raked, then being offered 33% of that back each month? Yep - you get 33% of all your rakes back.
The design is a matter of taste. No really my cup of tea, but that does not take away the fact that they belong to the largest network in the industry, Prima Poker Network, and that they are powered by Microgaming.
You have probably read on many occasions that you can take part in satellites to win a seat at the big offline tournaments to win big money and at Crazy Vegas Poker, there is proof that you can win really big. Last year (2004) one of the players from this poker room qualified for the Monte Carlo Millions and finished up in ninth position and walked away with $20,000!! See? Not just all talk now, is it?

Magic Hand Poker Promotion
Each hand dealt at Crazy Poker is assigned a number. From
time to time Crazy Poker management picks a hand number at
random in advance and declares it a Magic Hand and establishes
what the prizes will be. When that magic hand is dealt, the
winner of the hand wins the main prize and all other players
in the game each get a second bonus amount. (If you sit out
you don't qualify!)
Progressive Bad Beat Poker Promotion
Four of a Kind or better, is beaten. The loser of the hand
receives 50% of the progressive bad beat jackpot, the winner
gets 25%, and the remaining 25% is split among the other players
in the hand. You can't lose!

Microgaming Prima Poker
Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Texas Hold'em, Seven Card Stud, Five Card Stud, 1-on-1 play
Once you know how to play limit Texas Hold'em or limit Omaha Hi/Lo, the rules to No Limit are very easy to learn. Click to see the rules of limit Hold'em. The difference between regular limit Hold'em and No Limit Hold'em is when it comes to the betting amounts. The betting rules are very simple:
Minimum eligible raise: The raise amount must be at least as much as the previous bet or raise in the same round. As an example, if the first player to act bets $10 then the second player must raise a minimum of $10 (total bet of $20).
Maximum eligible raise: All of the chips you have at the table!
When playing at Crazy Poker you have a betting "slider" which allows you to bet many amounts between the minimum and maximum allowable bet size. There is no cap to the number of raises in No Limit games.
At each No Limit table there is a Maximum Buy-In amount. Crazy Poker currently has two different maximum buy-in amounts of $50 and $100 in order to ensure all players have an opportunity to be competitive at No Limit without having to compete against players with thousands of dollars in front of them.
No Limit games are very exciting and for newer players we recommend getting familiar with the large betting amounts at the Tournament tables where you can better control the amount of money you wish to risk.
All-in Policy
If you are connected to the game server when it is your turn
to act in a No Limit or Pot Limit game and you timeout by
not acting within the allowable 30 seconds, your hand will
be FOLDED.
These rules are in place to protect the integrity and fairness of the games for all players, including yourself.
