Updated December 16 2005

The thing that makes Empire poker so amazing is simply the sheer number of players that you will see there. Because they have such a huge memberhip on their hands, they are able to set up a huge number of tournaments and some really excellent promotions.

The software is not the most modern software that is available, but this is a matter of taste more than anything else. It basically depends on what you are looking for in a poker room. Great graphics and gimmicks, or great performance. Empire Poker opted for the performance, which makes sense since they host so many players at one time.

Tournaments are a lot of fun because of their software, as often you will have well over 2000 entrants in the big ones, so they have made sure that there will be no serious problems with the servers etc. The fact that you have so many entrants may scare off a number of people thinking that there is no point, but I beg to differ.. the more people that enter a buy-in tournament, the higher the prizes and the more places get paid out.

The support is second to none. They are fast and thourough with their answers and I have yet to experience even the slightest of hiccups here.
