Island Poker offers you a number of chances to take part in the big prize winning poker tournaments by offering you various satellites, freerolls and lucky draws to win these precious seats.

Every time I went there, I saw that there were always a load of players and tables available and being the tight-fisted player that I am, was very pleases to see the tables for the "low-rollers" were well represented. Often you find that these tables are really difficult to get a seat at, but they have so many to chose from that you will always find one - at least I did.

One thing that did bug me a bit though was that you have to open the client (software) to be able to see the tournament schedule, because it is not posted on their website. I like going to the websites of the poker rooms before I decide at which one I want to play at and at which tournament. But I guess that is a very minor issue for most.

By registering, you are automatically entered in a couple of lucky draws where you can winn WSOP seats or a Hummer and as soon as you have made a deposit, you will be given $15 free chips to play at one of their three casinos. These reasons alone would be enough for me to sign up.
