Pokerstars has evolved into a really good poker room to play at. They have loads of members now and you will always find a table or tournament to play at regardless of your budget.

The software is very light on your computer, meaning that it is a small program and does not use up your processor resources which could lead to a massive heating problem. A really cool feature is that you can upload a photo of yourself and this will be displayed at the table when you are playing. I like this, because it puts a face to a name and it has a more personal touch to it. Another one is the connection status of players, where you simply move your mouse over the player and you will see what his or her connection is like. This can be useful when you are looking for a table to play at and you know that your connection is always good, saving you from playing at tables waiting for those to make their move - sometimes severly frustrating.

Being part of the WPT and offering seats to the WSOP, you can be sure to find brilliant offers at various tournaments and freerolls.

A really cool poker room!!

Ultimate Player's Club

Frequent Player Points

Players accumulate FPPs by playing in raked cash games, multi-table tournaments and Sit & Go Tournaments that include a tournament fee.

1. Earn Points for Cash Game Play

One (1) Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing in each raked game when the rake reaches:

$0.50 for fixed limit games with stakes $0.50/$1.00 and lower
$0.75 for fixed limit games with stakes $1/$2
$1.00 for pot limit games, no limit games, and fixed limit games with stakes $2/$4 and higher

2. Earn Points for Tournament Play

Five (5) FPPs are awarded for each $1 in tournament fees paid.
For example, in a tournament with $20 buy-in and $2 tournament fee, each player will be awarded 10 FPPs.
Partial Frequent Player Points are always rounded up to the nearest whole number.
For example, in a $5 buy-in Sit & Go tournament with only a $0.50 fee, 3 FPPs (instead of 2.5) will be awarded to each player in this tournament.

How Many Frequent Player Points Do I Have?

At any time you can visit the cashier window and see your current FPP balance. This window reflects not only real money and play money balances but also a Frequent Player Points balance. The more you play - the more your FPP balance will grow.

What Can I Do with My Frequent Player Points?

There are several great ways to turn your Frequent Player Points into cash or prizes - but their versatility leaves open additional possibilities for the future.

1. Enter Special Tournaments

The PokerStars Frequent Player Points program makes it easy for you to play in some of the biggest and most prestigious poker tournaments in the world. Throughout the year, we offer FPP super-satellite tournaments to such prestigious events as the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour Championship.

2. Enter Cash Tournaments

PokerStars has designed several regularly scheduled tournaments around the FPP program. These tournaments allow you to buy-in using only Frequent Player Points, but they pay cash to the winners.

3. Purchase Gifts

To reward your play on our site, PokerStars offers a range of exciting items from PokerStars baseball caps to 600-chip sets of clay poker chips for use in your home game.
