Now Virgin Games moves to Virtue Fusion

News on 7 May 2009

Virgin Games.com has become the latest major online gambling group to join what appears to be something of a rush to sign up with Virtue Fusion Alderney’s bingo platform. Virtue Fusion’s gain is Boss Media group subsidiary St. Minver’s loss as the UK gambling company makes the switch this month.
The move will better position Virgin as a true operator instead of a white label network operation. Virgin has apparently found that bingo, which started out as essentially a marketing arm for the main brand has become an important element in its own right and is therefore being developed as such.
Virgin Games was not unhappy with St. Minver, a spokesman emphasised, but the change was necessary to fit a fresh business model which includes the acquisition of an Alderney licence earlier this year, with another imminent from Malta’s LGA, both of which require more direct control and in-house activity on payouts and CRM.
Players on the new platform will be able to enjoy more functionality, and Virtue Fusion additionally offers side games like Big Top Tombola, Clover Rollover, Joker Jackpot and Marine Mayhem, a community based slot game. There are also rumours of a national bingo game network, increasing player liquidity and opportunities for network operators and players alike. Virtue Fusion additionally offers its players the ability to compete in multiple rooms simultaneously, without losing sight of other games in progress.
