ICAP Ocean Tomo has announced that it has been engaged to sell a patent portfolio of Server Based Gaming technology owned by Legal iGaming Inc. The portfolio contains 6 issued U.S. patents and 24 pending domestic and foreign patent applications.
“The Server Based Gaming technology available for sale in this patent portfolio will allow for an expansion of the casino beyond the gaming floor,” said Dean Becker, ICAP Ocean Tomo President. “This technology will revolutionize the gaming industry and we are very excited to be a part of it.”
The patents encompass transferrable game states and other remote play technologies such as technologies which eliminate the need for separate data tracking devices for different gaming machines. These assets play a critical role in the adoption of Server Based Gaming and should be considered a valuable asset to any company operating within the gaming industry.
