Chartwell pulls off “The Italian Job”

The Calgary-based online gambling software developer Chartwell Technology Inc. has launched its new “The Italian Job” slot at Bwin, the largest publicly listed Internet betting group in Europe.

The new slot is an eye-catching nine-line game inspired by the cult Paramount film of 1969.  “The Italian Job”, and celebrates the 40th anniversary of the film’s release with a nine-line pick-a-prize tribute.

Chartwell spokesmen said the release marks the start of a series of branded slot games for that will soon be followed by a “Sleepy Hollow” themed slot.  Based on the Academy Award winning movie, this exciting new slot will also offer players a nine-line pick-a-prize experience.

“The Italian Job” is the first branded slot game and the new highlight within Bwin’s instant play casino offerings from our partner Chartwell”, commented Tomer Katz, head of product management at Bwin.

“The Italian Job” and “Sleepy Hollow” represent the first two titles to be developed and launched under a multi-license agreement between Chartwell and Paramount Digital Entertainment, a division of Paramount Pictures.
