New U.S. software in action

News on 18 May 2010

The widespread speculation on internet gambling message boards over the past few days has been confirmed by the launch of a new US-facing online gambling casino by Casinoshare.
On Monday, May 17 www.casino-share.com was up and running with an inventory of over 300 downloadable games, most of them familiar to players as Microgaming offerings.
Although the site carries no software company identification, it is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and clearly has a US focus, with full player facilities and a professional presentation.
The site also indicates that is the operator for Players Palace.
There have been no public announcements on the US launch by Microgaming, the new software company or Casinoshare beyond pragmatic operational notifications to the players and affiliates, but it seems clear that Microgaming has licensed the copyright to its games to the as yet unidentified software company powering the new Casinoshare operation.
It is now expected that other operators who have contracted with the new software provider will soon be online as well.
