More operators changing American online action to new US software

News on 20 May 2010

Two more Microgaming licensees have notified affiliates that they will be switching US players to an independent software platform servicing the US market.
Star Partners has advised that from May 20 all US players at Vegas Partner Lounge casinos will be migrated to the new US facing platform.
“This new software is very, very similar to our existing Microgaming software, so there will be a smooth transition for players,” the notification assured affiliates, adding that affiliate earnings on US play will also be migrated to a new affiliate program: Affiliates.TheCasinoUS.com
The operator of Red Flush Casino has advised that effective Wednesday the 18th its US players were moved onto the new software platform.
“This new platform has moved away from Microgaming and will be licensed from a brand new software provider,” a spokesman said.  “The new software will be very similar in look and
feel; stability; gaming collection and features, but there will be some notable changes.
“You will come to know this as a new brand called Red Flush.Net – a new interface that has been developed for the US market,” added.
The changes have followed news of similar moves earlier this week by Casinoshare, Casino Rewards and Players Palace.
