Amaya reportedly seeking an M&A executive

News on 1 May 2017

Media reports over the Bank Holiday weekend have suggested that Pokerstars parent group Amaya is on the hunt for a mergers and acquisitions executive.

Some reports suggest that the company is currently talking to William Hill strategy and corporate development director Robin Chhabra, with whom the Canadian company presumably came into contact during the aborted Will Hill merger initiative last year (see previous reports).

Chabra, who has an impressive c.v. with major gambling companies, has been with William Hill for the past seven years; none of the parties reportedly involved in the talks has commented thus far.
