Betfair embarks on ‘huge’ marketing campaign

Betfair has launched a seven-figure advertising and marketing campaign to support its new casino offering.

The “Huge” campaign, due to run until the end of the year, will flight across ESPN, Sky Sports and British Eurosport reports The Drum.

The multi-pronged approach campaign comprises television advertisements, mobile and online displays, customer communication and search marketing.

Peter Marcus, Betfair’s UK & Ireland director said: “The online casino market place is becoming increasingly cluttered and we wanted something to set us apart from the crowd. The big and bold creative makes an immediate impact and is a significant departure from what our competitors are doing.”

The adverts, featuring giant lemons and cherries raining down from the sky, will target a broader audience with their schedule additionally running across terrestrial channels Channel’s 4 and 5.
