BGO launch exclusive in-house developed slot

News on 20 Jan 2014

bgo Entertainment (formerly Mandalay Media) has launched “Jurassic Island”, its first video slot game to emerge from its recently formed in-house development studio which is apparently led by Andreas Bexelius, a former Lead Gaming Mathematician at Net Entertainment.

The 5-reel, 25-payline game features symbols and thematics from the Jurassic period introducing mean-looking dodos, mutated killer plants, dinosaur skulls, irate raptors and aggressive apes.

Jurassic Island offers four feature modes which are triggered by hitting three or more scatters anywhere across the reels. Players are given a choice of one of the four games, three of which offer 40 free spins.

The fourth bonus game, Hot Shot Hunter, pits the player as a hunter looking down his gun’s scope against three types of moving dinosaurs who must be shot by lining up mouse-controlled crosshairs.

A minimum bet of 25p and a maximum bet of GBP 50.00 applies.

“Building our own games allows us to offer entertainment options at bgo.com that they will not find elsewhere,” said co-founder of bgo, Alex Holt. “We were happy to see the game become and remain one of our top titles over the launch weekend”.
