Boylesports acquires Tom Flood Bookmakers

BoyleSports has acquired Tom Flood Bookmakers Ltd, an Irish chain comprising seven outlets in the Dublin area, for an undisclosed consideration.

Following the acquisition Boylesports’ narrows the gap with 192 retail shops between itself and Paddy Power who operates 210 shops in Ireland.

The company will spend Euro 3 million on renovating and shopfitting all seven outlets which will be rebranded immediately.

The 39 Tom Flood staff members will be retained, confirmed BoyleSports owner and chief executive officer John Boyle who also said: “As for Tom Flood customers, they can expect that their local betting shop will now offer a greater range of betting opportunities with the same great service while enjoying the best facilities within the betting industry.”
