Churchill Downs suspends online wagering in Texas

Churchill Downs’ TwinSpires.com suspended online wagering from Texas residents Wednesday following the failure of a court challenge on a Texas State ban on internet gambling .

The company said in a statement that it plans to file an appeal and “are optimistic that our legal arguments will prevail”.
