Cyprus police bust illegal gambling ring

Police in Limassol, Cyprus have conducted a coordinated series of raids against illegal gambling operations on the island, seizing 54 computers and other evidence, according to a report from the CNA news agency Saturday.

Five individuals were arrested in the police swoop on three premises Friday night following extensive investigations, spokesmen revealed. The raids involved the British Base police, the traffic police in Limassol, and police from the central station in Nicosia.
