Draftkings seals high profile marketing partnership

Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has been named long-term marketing partner by The Madison Square Garden Company (MSG).

DraftKings became an MSG Signature Partner affording it extensive year-round brand exposure across MSG’s sports, entertainment and media properties in New York.

The comprehensive deal also sees DraftKings as the exclusive Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner of MSG’s teams which include the New York Knicks, Rangers, Liberty and Westchester Knicks.

In addition, DraftKings became Marquee partner of the New York Liberty professional basketball team and will have its logo appear on the team’s home and away uniforms and shooting shirts providing it with premium brand exposure to fans in-arena, and to consumers via national and local tv broadcasts and media coverage.

“The Madison Square Garden Company’s outstanding lineup of world-renowned teams and properties makes this an ideal partnership for us,” commented Jason Robins, chief executive officer and co-founder of DraftKings.

In related news, DraftKings clinched a sponsorship deal with the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.

Organised by the New York Racing Association, the festival is a highlight on the U.S. horse racing calendar.
