Dutch and Isle of Man regulators to collaborate

News on 9 May 2015

The chiefs of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Dutch Games of Chance Authority (Kansspelautoriteit or “KSA”) have signed a Letter of Intent developing a cooperative agreement between the two regulatory bodies.

The agreement covers elements such as cross-border supervision, exchanges of data, consumer protection and measures designed to streamline and reciprocate the licence granting process for cross-border operators.

It prepares the ground for the legalisation of online gambling in the Netherlands – hopefully later this year – by working closely with the well-established and experienced Isle of Man body.
