UK-based mobile and social sports games developer Fenway Games is set to launch SnapPlay on China’s social media sports platform HQ Sports following a deal with Haiqiu Technology.

Fenway Games’ SnapPlay, an in-play betting app where users make their predictions on the next 60 seconds of live English Premier League match play, will be launched via Sports HQ’s social sports short video app MiaoHi and data entertainment app JiHai.

“We are delighted to be forming such a close strategic partnership with such an innovative company as HQ Sports into such a large market as China which has so much potential,” Peter Gough, founder and managing director at Fenway Games, said.

“HQ is always looking for engaging sports products. We were impressed with Peter and his team, and their vision of bringing instant and real-time entertainment to football fans fits perfectly with our vision for MiaoHi,” Sun Jihai, chairman and founder of Haiqui, said.

Haiqiu Technology was founded early 2016 by Chinese footballer, Sun Jihai, who played for British Premier League football club Manchester City.

Fenway Games revealed the launch of SnapPlay in China will be followed shortly by the launch of its SnapBet offer in the UK market.
