FOBT activist explains his motivation

Adrian Parkinson, who describes himself as the industry executive who turned whistle-blower on Fixed Odds Betting Terminals in the bookmaking industry in 2012, has continued his crusade against the betting machines in an op-ed article in The Guardian newspaper this week.

In the article, Parkinson explains why current measures to curb addictive fixed-odds betting terminals don’t go far enough, and suggests tighter restrictions.
