French regulator to share information with Global Lottery Monitoring body

The Swiss-based Global Lottery Monitoring System, a non-profit body that represents 29 state lotteries in protecting the integrity of sports events, has announced a collaborative agreement with French online gambling regulator ARJEL which will see the two organisations sharing information on suspicious betting patterns flagged by their respective systems.

A spokesman for ARJEL said the agreement represents another step forward in the fight against the manipulation of sports competitions.
