Armenia-based online and mobile sports betting and casino platform provider Digitain has launched a new online sportsbook for Austria-based operator Tipp1.com, as the supplier continues to expand into new markets.

The site will be powered by Digitain’s fully-managed sportsbook platform, which offers odds on 65 different sports, taking in 7,500 leagues, and more than 3,000 betting markets. It also covers 28,000 live events a month.

Under the agreement, Digitain is also supplying its sportsbook solution to Tipp1’s retail properties through bet stations, allowing the operator to offer its customers a multi-channel experience for the first time.

The Tipp 1 deal follows a number of launches for Digitain, including Xlivebet.com in Bosnia and FinBet in Kazakhstan (see previous reports).

Digitain also recently inked a distribution deal with Mediatech Solutions to provide the Spain-based supplier with its sports betting platform.

Digitain CEO Suren Khachatryan, said in a statement Tuesday:

“We have been working hard to create partnerships in new markets, and Austria is an exciting venture for us. This deal will be followed by a long line of sites that we are set to roll-out in the coming months. Multi-channel is a must for operators in every market, and it’s something we know we can deliver to our partners.”

Wolfgang Grünsteidl, co-owner at Tipp1, said: “We have been dabbling with online gaming for a number of years now, but realised we needed to find a proper platform partner in order to take our offering to the next level.”

He added that the sportsbook addition will provide a significant boost to the interactive arm of Tipp 1’s business.
