IOM seeks new director for e-business development

News on 15 Jul 2015

Peter Greenhill, director for e-business development for the Isle of Man Government, will be returning to the private sector following completion of his two-year contract.

The department has embarked on a recruitment drive for a successor to Greenhill who will remain on the Island and has agreed to assist with the transition.

“e-Business is the Island’s fastest growing sector, creating over 100 new jobs last year with half as a result of direct involvement from Peter and his team,” Minister for Economic Development, Laurence Skelly MHK said.  “He has also steered the Isle of Man through a raft of legislative and regulatory issues such as the UK’s Point of Consumption Tax.”
