Isis Lab appoints former Pokerstars software head

ISIS Lab Corporation has appointed Dmitri Dain, the former head of PokerStars software development arm PYR Software, as its chief technology officer (CTO).

Dain has almost two decades of experience in both the private company and public company sector.  Prior to PYR Software he served as CTO of E*Trade Israel, MIS manager of AVX Corporation and as an IT Consultant to, The Ontario Ministry of Health, amongst other positions.

“I am pleased Dmitri has joined Isis, his background and skillset is invaluable not only to our management team, but in the delivery of our innovative product suites that we are known for, positioning Isis as an industry leader,” said Daniel Kajouie, Chairman and chief executive officer of Isis.

ISIS Lab Corporation also launched its real-money social network ISIS Friends which was built and regulated for the online gaming market in the UK in partnership with Isle of Man-based Cladstone Ltd.  The network claims to have the largest portfolio of games available for social online gaming available at ISISFriends.com and ISISFriends.co.uk.

Readers will recall the company’s recent announcement of the appointment of Lothar Rentschler, Full Tilt Poker’s chief marketing officer (see previous report) along with former Full Tilt Poker communications head Michele Clayborne.

But senior vice-president of operations and business affairs Anthony Abrahamson has left the company.  Abrahamson’s appointment was only announced in January this year, he was the former chief operating officer of poker software supplier Tribeca.
