Ladbrokes announces new tweak to in-play betting

Ladbrokes has announced changes to its accumulator betting rules with the addition of “Edit My Acca” functionality which allows players to ring the changes on their football accumulator bets whilst the matches are being played.

The gambling group collaborated with suppliers Playtech and Openbet in developing the technology, which Ladbrokes claims is a “game changer” in the sports betting sector.

Ladbrokes already offers insurance and an accumulator tracking service, says head of digital products Dipen Nagda, claiming that the additional launch of “Edit My Acca” provides punters with moe control through a very engaging feature.

Playtech’s strategic advisor, Ian Chuter, said in a statement that the new facility is well named as a game changer.

“If one or two legs of your acca aren’t doing so well, you can remove them and extend your chances of winning, all while matches are in progress,” he explained.
