Luckbox eSports enterprise updates progress

News on 1 Aug 2018

Luckbox, the eSports betting enterprise which accepts cryptocurrencies and was founded by former Pokerstars managers Lars Lien and Mike Stevens (see previous reports) has given an update on progress so far following its ICO.

The most significant development was the acquisition this week of the Isle of Man Gaming Supervision Commission’s first crypto-based eSports betting licence under the Online Gambling Regulation Act (OGRA),

The licence was issued to Real Time Games Holding Limited, the parent company for Luckbox.

Managment, which includes former Pokerstars staffers like Quentin Martin (COO), Vadim Soloveychik (chief marketing officer) and David Lyons (director of player engagement) is currently working towards full product readiness early in 2019, but before then there are plans to showcase the product and reveal third party partners.

In the coming weeks there will be extensive testing, followed by a closed Beta launch prior to the full launch and the start of a comprehensive marketing program .

With the Isle of Man licence now secure, Management plans to target appropriate licensing for other markets such as the UK, Malta and Spain. Long-term, the plan is to operate in the majority of regulated markets.
