Macau regulator warns against online gambling

The Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (GICB) has posted an alert warning that online gambling websites carrying its certification are operating illegally.

The authority clarified, following a rise in public enquiries on issues related “to illegal gambling websites”, that all online interactive websites in Macau are considered to be illegal;  and that the Macau Government has never issued online interactive licenses to any company.

It warned that any online operation carrying DICJ certification, information or photo’s, without prior consent, will face the force of Macau’s legal system.
